Jusan Vertical IVR solutions, ‘taxing’ the French

This joint project involving our French partner Adictis and SPIE, one of the leading French telecommunications service and network integrators, is another example of how Jusan IVR technology may be adapted to meet the specific needs of a particular organization or sector.

In this case the end user is the regional tax authority in the “department” of Oise in Northern France. The area is divided into 5 sub-regions: Beauvais, Clermont, Compiègne, Creil & Senlis, each of which has now been equipped with its own independent IVR unit in the local offices .

The “customer” or taxpayer rings his/her local office and after a few simple questions to establish the callers postcode and to identify whether the enquiry is on behalf of a company/organization or is for an individual, the system then consults a LAN based Excel sheet which provides the number and location of the person or department to which the call should be routed.

This may be located within the same building, resulting in an internal transfer or, in any one of the other four regional offices, in which case an external transfer is made.
